Who is Sunlight Exploration?

  • Sunlight Exploration, Inc. is an independent oil and gas company engaged in the exploration, acquisition, development and production of crude oil and natural gas. The Company’s current activities are principally conducted in Texas and the mid-continent region.

About us

Sunlight is primarily an exploration company, focusing on wildcat prospects and the discovery of new oil and gas fields. This focus provides mostly for conventional reservoir exploration, but unconventional prospects are not dismissed. Economics, being the driving force behind all projects, is the thrust of Sunlight’s drilling, completion, development, and production programs. For years, oil has been the primary target, with gas playing a minor role.

Sunlight operates oil leases in Texas and New Mexico, and is continually exploring for new production, developing existing leases, along with reviewing opportunities for acquisition of additional producing properties.

One of Sunlights’s objectives is to operate, when possible, the oil and gas properties in which it has economic interests. With responsibility and authority as operator, Sunlight is in the better position to control costs, safety, and timeliness of work affecting the economics of drilling, completing, and producing a well.

For the future, Sunlight intends to continue to emphasize wildcat exploration, acquisition of both developed and undeveloped properties, and to advance the potential drill sites and re-completion opportunities in its inventory. Sunlight upholds a respected reputation among area independent producers, operators and service companies and strives to maintain a debt free balance sheet.
